Lorri-Ann Carter is founder, president and CEO of CarterTodd & Associates.She oversees general agency operations and leads marketing strategy for the agency's client base.Carter has 15 years of experience in marketing strategy, public relations counsel, media and analyst relations strategy and implementation, advertising, and internal and customer communications for both non-profit and for-profit organizations.She has worked with companies ranging from information technology and professional services to non-profit and economic development.Carter has expertise in directing PR and marketing efforts for a variety of vertical industries including manufacturing, transportation, government, real estate, financial services, insurance, hospitality and tourism, retail, legal, and environmental.Prior to founding the agency in 1998, she managed PR and marketing initiatives for many technology companies throughout the country, and also worked in advertising for various newspapers and magazines.

Carter is regularly quoted in national public relations and marketing magazines, such as PR Week, and has been featured as a speaker and panelist for local and regional public relations associations.She has led the agency to win several national PR/Marketing/Graphics Design awards over the years, including PRSA Mercury Awards, APEX Awards, Communicator Awards, and a 2004 Community Builders Award for Outstanding Promotional Program in South Carolina.

Carter sits on the Board of Trustees for EngenuitySC and the Palmetto Center for Women, formerly the YWCA.Carter is a member of the Columbia Technology Entrepreneurial Council and works closely with the USC Technology Incubator.In 2005, she was selected from a group of 150 nominees as one of The State newspaper's 20 Under 40 award recipients.Carter received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Carolina's College of Journalism & Mass Communications.
